Ten-Yo 天葉
A refined omakase experience celebrating the art of Japanese tempura — featuring seasonal seafood and vegetables, delicately coated and fried to perfection, each piece served at its peak with lightness, texture, and refined precision.

Seasonal Kaiseki 季節懐石
An immersive dining journey featuring exquisitely grilled, simmered, and fried creations, delicate sashimi, and seasonal specialties crafted with elegance and precision.

Shoken Kappo offers a refined glimpse into Gyouten’s culinary artistry. Thoughtfully crafted as a lighter introduction, this 7 course journey features delicacies capturing the essence of Kappo Omakase.

Yakitori Kappo 焼鳥割烹
A refined Japanese charcoal-grilled dining experience, showcasing chef-selected ingredients carefully grilled over authentic Japanese Binchotan charcoal.
Prized for its intense, steady heat and exceptionally clean burn, Binchotan enhances the natural flavour, aroma and texture of every skewer.

The Meaning Behind Gyouten
Gyouten reflects a philosophy of dedication, precision and continual refinement.
“Gyō” (行) represents Chef Jay’s commitment to discipline, practice and mastery.
“Ten” (天) means sky or heaven, symbolising aspiration, elegance and respect for nature.
Together, Gyouten represents the pursuit of excellence through craftsmanship, seasonality and carefully selected ingredients.
At Gyouten, the menu evolves with the finest produce available each day. Every course is prepared with balance and intention, allowing the natural flavour and texture of each ingredient to take centre stage.
Chef Jay specialises in Japanese Kappo Omakase. After eight years of training in Tokyo’s fine-dining kitchens, he brings his experience to Perth, combining traditional Japanese techniques with seasonal Australian ingredients.
The result is an intimate dining experience rooted in discipline, artistry and respect for nature.
